Lacquer Walls is an exclusive collection of innovative wall coverings, created from 100% paperbacked PVC. These four designs, each available in a palette of watery colors and subtle neutrals, were inspired by the patterns and colors of Japanese Washi papers, traditional hand-made papers used for both decorative and utilitarian purposes throughout Japan. Lacquer Walls is a study in subtle contrast and intriguing design tension: the shiny, reflective surface and modern material versus the muted colors and understated patterns executed in the medium. Lacquer Walls has a wonderful aqueous feel, but easily fits into any design vocabulary; it is perfect for spas, bathrooms, kitchens, hotels, residential installations, and children’s rooms.

The Lacquer Walls Collection was the recipient of the Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in 2004.
